Ms. Dana Hamza, Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Sustainable Development in Bahrain
Ms. Dana Hamz is a seasoned economist and financial sector specialist with extensive experience in the financial services industry. She holds an MSc in Finance and Economic Policy from SOAS, University of London, and a BA in Industrial Economics with Insurance from the University of Nottingham, UK. Her expertise spans business strategy, economic research—particularly in sustainable development—risk management, cybersecurity, Islamic banking, macroeconomics, business planning, and international relations. Ms. Hamza has gained valuable professional experience through her work at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C., and the Michigan Department of Treasury, as part of the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program.
